Japanese Dyeing Artworks
LUCENT LIFE is designed by Yuki Hemmi, a dyer and dressmaker.
Her artworks are created using traditional Japanese dyeing methods such as Yuzen-zome and Roketsu-zome, along with her own original techniques.
She mainly dyes silk, which she then designs and tailors into garments, stoles, and other pieces.
The theme of her art is ‘LUCENT LIFE’, symbolizing luminous life.
She hopes her art will bring light to those who own it, to their loved ones, and to the world.

Yuki Hemmiが制作をしています。
作品は主にシルク地を用いており、日本の伝統的な染色技法である、友禅染め、ろうけつ染め、独自の方法を交えて染め、衣服やストールとして仕立てています。
創作のテーマである ‘LUCENT LIFE’は、
“光り輝く命”という意味です。
作品をお持ちいただく方の命、
その人の周りの人たちの人生、
そして世界が光り輝きますようにと、
願いを込めています。
